Grocery List

Captains can list their grocery needs here as well as who from their team will be picking up the items if known. Others can volunteer to pick up items as David has already done with potatoes.

If Ian can't fit them in his trailer and we have to go the shipping route it might be more cost effective to get a uhaul to bring them home. Even with a drop charge it might be comparable to shipping and we would likley save the GST and duty if any. I can check out a price on the Uhaul if someone (Brendon)can check on the possibility of getting it towed to NS. I'd even offer to go Amherst/NS Border to meet Ian if necessary.

A U-Haul trailer can be rented for a one way trip (pick up in Boston drop in NS - 4 days and 877 miles included which should be good as an online map indicates it's only about 825 miles to Sydney) for as low as $172US (for a 4'x8'trailer) or as high as $386US (for a 6'x12' trailer). I'll send the U-haul quote sheet by email to Brendon since he's in communication with the Boston folks.

If Merrill is coming up with his crew in his truck maybe he could hook up the trailer and say it's his camping equipment. Just an idea.

So once we get the tent across the border, what's the next step for sneaking in the lions, dancing bears and midgets?

No problem. The NDP could use a phone booth.
